Charles Moore, Evangelist
Charles Moore, Husband, Evangelist, Missionary and Founder of David’s Mighty Men he is the author of multiple Bible studies and developer of the two year men’s curriculum “Developing Men to Have a Heart and a Passion for God”. Having heard the call on his life at a very young age and after tasting his share of what the world had to offer he turned his life over to Jesus in January of 2000 where he has continued to be a faithful follower of The Lord Jesus Christ. Leading countless men through years of Bible Studies and personal ministry, he has inspired other men to take up the call on their life. From leading Bible Studies in his own home to praying on the streets of New York City, preaching on the streets of Austin, Texas to the fishing village of Angoon, Alaska to the mud huts of eastern India to the most downtrodden and outcast of society Charles Moore is taking the message of Eternal Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ to those in the highways and byways. After walking through (laughing at) a stage 4 cancer diagnosis in the summer and fall of 2008 he has never given up his own call. Making Mighty Men for God! Standing on the verses God showed him for his life's journey. Joshua 1:5 “No man shall stand against you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses so shall I be with you. I will never fail you or forsake you.” Psalms 12:1 “Help, Lord, for the faithful have vanished from among the sons of man.” Psalms 95:6 “Oh Come, let us worship and bow down; Let us knell before the Lord our Maker.”  In His Name and for His Greater Glory!

Having recently returned from a missionary trip to eastern India on the Bangladesh border, where I teamed up with local church leaders and translators offering the Gospel of Jesus Christ, His Everlasting Hope and Salvation from sin and death to those who have never even heard the name Jesus. Please continue to pray for those that God has just brought into His Kingdom and the men and women that will be continuing the discipleship of these new believers.

Understanding What It Is All About
On October 16th of 2003 I gave a speech to a small group of men not unlike your self, who choose to become a David’s Mighty Men Group Leader. I give that same speech to you now in the hopes that it will exhort you and encourage you and help motivate you as it did that group of Mighty Men who are for God.

“I want to instill in you why we are doing this. To instill in men the desire to rise up and be the man God has called them to be. To take their rightful place as leaders, as husbands, as men of God, as examples of Christ. We want to teach them to live to their highest potential. God has given them life and we want them to enjoy that life. But sometimes men are overcome they are overcome by pressures and stress and trying times. They are overcome by the pains of the past and the unknowns of the future, but our God has given them hope and plans for that future.

Your mission gentlemen, is to see to it that they understand this. Help them see their future in Christ. The wonders the glory, the greatness that shines through each one of them. Help them find the spark that will ignite the fire that will burn for an eternity. This will cause them to grow and to glow. This will cause them to change and to mature into great men of God. The man that God has called them to be. To lead their families in prayer, to study the Word of God and grow in their relationship with Christ. To be able to call other men to greatness. To be able to share the glory of the gospel of Jesus. To be the example God has called them to be.

Now we do this through study of His Word and through sharing and through prayer and through encouragement and exhortation and through the example of our own lives.

You will be required over the next 14 weeks to be that example. You will be called to stretch your life to limits you have not yet experienced. But God will be with you every step of the way. You may be asked to put your own life on hold. To lay down your life for your brother. You will be asked to go the extra mile. Your life as you know it may come to a halt for the greater glory of God and for the men of this church who are still growing. You may be asked to say yes when asked for your help. You may be asked to lay aside some of your own obligations and commitments for these next 14 weeks. Your personal plans my change and your personal needs may be put on hold. But I guarantee you it is only for a season.

We have been asked to fight for our brothers who are still at war within their own lives. Their freedom gentlemen, depends on us. You will be their guide. You will offer them the direction that God has given you. You will show them through your own life what it means to be a man of God, who serves not only in his own house but who serves in the church and in the community. You will be the light that shines in the darkness. For His Greater Glory.”

I know that you have “Heard the Call” and you have “Answered the Word” and you are now taking the responsibility for making Mighty Men for God. Thank you and God Bless You. Amen.

Let Us Think For A Moment
God vs Science

The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks
one of his new students to stand.

 'You're a Christian, aren't you, son?'

 'Yes sir,' the student says.

 'So you believe in God?'

 'Absolutely. '

 'Is God good?'
'Sure! God's good.'

'Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?'

 'Yes'

 'Are you good or evil?'

 'The Bible says I'm evil.'

The professor grins knowingly. 'Aha! The Bible! He considers for a moment.
'Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can
cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?'

 'Yes sir, I would.'

 'So you're good...!'

 'I wouldn't say that.'

'But why not say that? You'd help a sick and maimed person if you could.
Most of us would if we could. But God doesn't.'

The student does not answer, so the professor continues. 'He doesn't, does
he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to
Jesus to heal him. How is this Jesus good? Can you answer that one?'

The student remains silent. 'No, you can't, can you?' the professor says.
He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to
relax. 'Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?'

 'Er..yes,' the student says.

 'Is Satan good?'

The student doesn't hesitate on this one. 'No.'

'Then where does Satan come from?'

The student falters. 'From God'

'That's right. God made Satan, didn't he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in
this world?'

 'Yes, sir..'

'Evil's everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything, correct?'

 'Yes'

'So who created evil?' The professor continued, 'If God created everything,
then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle
that our works define who we are, then God is evil.'

Again, the student has no answer. 'Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred?
Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?'

The student squirms on his feet. 'Yes.'

 'So who created them?'

The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question.
'Who created them?' There is still no answer. Suddenly the lecturer breaks
away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized. 'Tell me,'
he continues onto another student. 'Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?'

The student's voice betrays him and cracks. 'Yes, professor, I do.'

The old man stops pacing. 'Science says you have five senses you use to
identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?'

'No sir. I've never seen Him.'

'Then tell us if you've ever heard your Jesus?'

 'No, sir, I have not..'

'Have you ever felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus? Have
you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that
matter?'

 'No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't.'

'Yet you still believe in him?'

 'Yes'
'According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol,
science says your God doesn't exist... What do you say to that, son?'

'Nothing,' the student replies.. 'I only have my faith.'

'Yes, faith,' the professor repeats. 'And that is the problem science has
with God. There is no evidence, only faith.'

The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of His
own. 'Professor, is there such thing as heat? '

 ' Yes.

'And is there such a thing as cold?'

'Yes, son, there's cold too.'

'No sir, there isn't.'

The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested. The room
suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain. 'You can have
lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited heat, white
heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We
can hit down to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go
any further after that. There is no such thing as cold; otherwise we would
be able to go colder than the lowest -458 degrees. Everybody or object is
susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes
a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-458 F) is the
total absence of heat. You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe
the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal
units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just
the absence of it.'

Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding
like a hammer.

'What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?'

'Yes,' the professor replies without hesitation. 'What is night if it isn't
darkness?'

'You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of
something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing
light, but if you have no light constantly you have nothing and it's called
darkness, isn't it? That's the meaning we use to define the word. In
reality, darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness
darker, wouldn't you?'

The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be
a good semester. 'So what point are you making, young man?'

'Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start
with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed.'

The professor's face cannot hide his surprise this time. 'Flawed? Can you
explain how?'

'You are working on the premise of duality,' the student explains. 'You
argue that there is life and then there's death; a good God and a bad God.
You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can
measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought.' 'It uses electricity
and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To
view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death
cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just
the absence of it.' 'Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that
they evolved from a monkey?'

'If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes,
of course I do.'

'Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?'

The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where
the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.

'Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot
even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching
your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?'

The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the commotion has
subsided. 'To continue the point you were making earlier to the other
student, let me give you an example of what I mean.' The student looks
around the room. 'Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the
professor's brain?' The class breaks out into laughter. 'Is there anyone
here who has ever heard the professor's brain, felt the professor's brain,
touched or smelt the professor's brain? No one appears to have done so. So,
according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable
protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all due respect, sir.'
'So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?'

Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face
unreadable. Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. 'I
Guess you'll have to take them on faith.'

'Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with
life,' the student continues. 'Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?' Now
uncertain, the professor responds, 'Of course, there is. We see it Everyday.
It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in The
multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world.. These
manifestations are nothing else but evil.'

To this the student replied, 'Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does
not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like
darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of
God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man
does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that
comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no
light.'

 The professor sat down.

The Broken Church

The church body, the body of Christ, that He set up, was never supposed to be: this fellowship here and that fellowship there, disconnected from each other, I don't know when that happen or how that happened, but it happened 100's and 100's and 100's of years ago, and unfortunately for the church, the believers, us, for His body, it's still happening today. And I'm sure that if it hurts us, can you even imagine what it's doing to the Holy Spirit. God seeing His children in so much discord and bickering and split apart, like a family broken and shattered that can't ever seem to come together again.

I'm about to be late for work but let me give you a story, God just gave me.

Story 1:
In a family, Jesus being the dad, we being His children, we get born, we're fed baby food, we go to soft foods, we learn to feed ourselves, mom and dad still have to make meals. We get a little older we learn to make our own sandwiches we're taught maybe, how to do our own cooking. We get a little older, get a part-time job, we lean a little more responsibility that we take to ourselves to do, without anyone telling us because we were taught too. We get a little older and then one day, we get a real job. Hey, this can sustain me, and if we were raised properly we will want to move out, fall in love, and raise our own family. Just like our Dad did. Because we want to be just like our Dad. But when that day comes and we say Dad I'm ready to move out, you have taught me well, I'm grown-up, I'm and an adult, I'm "moving forward" now with the life you taught me too live, I would like you to pray with me and send me out with your blessings. God's plan for that family has now been fulfilled. And Dad can say, yes son, let's pray together, because no matter where you live, where you go, you will always be my son, and your own family will always be a part of this family because you are a part of this family. You may have your own family in that town and your brothers and sisters they have their families here and there, and because we are a family we'll always stay connected. We can always call each other and Pray for each other and if one family needs help we are always be there for each other. Helping each other's families grow and one day their kids will have their own families and my son that is how, my Dad taught me and his Dad taught Him, and we can even have times together when we all come together, family reunions and times of celebrations for each others families and even in times of difficulties, we can come together and be there for each other. Because that's what a good Godly family does. Even when you have your own family to look after.....................................Or:

Story 2:
The dad could say boy you ain't never leaving home, I'm the dad in this family and what I say goes, and that ain't my plans for you. I didn't raise you so you could walk out on me and your maw and all your brothers and sisters but they ain't leaving see they love us. You need to stay here and take care of us, you owe us boy. I raised you, now you take care of me. I'm the one in charge of this family and you'll do exactly what I tell you to or you ain't no son of mine. Now go on get the hell out of here if you ain't staying.

A story of two families, but two very different families. (just something that came to me) In a Godly family we should be connected always, even when we no longer live at home, but in the ungodly family, their connection is one of well...you read the stories. I'll let you decide.

IN DEFENSE OF THE GOSPEL

When we say that we love God and then are not willing to tell others of His love, the sacrifice of His Son on the cross for the sins of the world, then we are not showing them love. To leave anyone in a place of damnation, a position of condemnation, a fear and horror of judgment, then we are not following the commands of our Lord and Savior Jesus. Jesus said if you love Me then you will follow my commandments. Three times in the Gospels we see Jesus telling His disciples to go and teach go and preach the gospel to go and preach repentance and remission of sins. ......

There is much talk these days of loving others of loving God and showing God's love, and being love, and loving on someone, "oh we just want to love them" but there is very little love shown to those that are lost eternally, for the only way for the lost to become found, for the blind to see, for deaf to hear, for the broken hearted to be healed, for the captives to be released, for everlasting life, is through the preaching of the Gospel of Christ.

Too many in the church today believe that we can save through the works of our own hands and not through the power of the Holy Spirit, that if we are just nice and kind and considerate and helpful and giving, but not telling the Gospel, that somehow this will bring them to a place of repentance in their lives. But this is far from the truth. The Bible is very specific, faith comes by hearing the Gospel. As the Bible says how can they hear if they are not told, how can they be told if someone does not preach, how can someone preach unless they are sent.

If we are not willing to preach, then we are not willing or desiring or loving to see the lost come to Jesus. We deceive ourselves, and in turn we deceive those that are lost. We hide behind such dogma and lies as, "well I don't want to shove the Gospel down anyone's throat", "well I don't want to hit someone over the head with the Bible", "well God hasn't called me to preach", "if we just love on them", "well we just need to show the love of God", "well they're not going to care what we say until they can see how much we care". These may sound well and good and they do make our flesh feel good, but they are the lies of the enemy.

Just because we use the word love and the word god, does not mean we are following the commandments of Jesus. (many at my work use the word god daily, but it is usually attached to another word also) We deceive ourselves many times in what we do. We place more emphasis on the works of our hands and on how we feel after we give a help to someone than on the Word of God. We like to pat ourselves on the back, look at what we did today, look at all our works, look at how many we have given some "thing" to today, (that will be gone tomorrow). Come see and hear what we have done, what we are doing.

We love the accolades of men who say, "oh you are so loving, oh you are so kind, oh you are so wonderful". I would rather have the hatred of all men knowing that I have told all men the Truth of their lives, the total lost and depravity of their souls, and then the saving grace of God, the Gospel of Salvation, than to have the affection and the kind words of gratitude from a very few that remain lost because I was ashamed to tell them the truth, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Church should have works, but never without the Word of God. If there is no repentance there can be no salvation. It is the kindness of God, His works, His sacrifice, His giving, His love, His shed blood of His Son Jesus that brings a man to repentance. Not my works, not my kindness, not my giving, not my love, (not my boasting) but HIS.

What did Jesus say when questioned about doing the works of God: “This is the work of God, that you believe on Him who He has sent.” ….. This is the work we have been called into… To reconcile all men to Jesus, to implore that they be reconciled to God. That God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing (charging) their sins against them. This is the commandment of Jesus. This is how we show the love of God to a lost and loveless world. .... We tell them.

In His Name and For His Greater Glory,
Amen.

I HAVE LOVE, I HAVE JOY, I HAVE PEACE, I HAVE LONG SUFFERING (PATIENCE), I HAVE GOODNESS, I HAVE GENTLENESS, I HAVE MEEKNESS, I HAVE TEMPERANCE (SELF-CONTROL).  I HAVE FAITH.  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am strengthened in all power by the Might of the Lord.

MY NATURE IS DIVINE. My weapons are mighty in God to the tearing down of strongholds, casting down imaginations. I bring captive unto the obedience of His Word every thought that exalts itself against the Word of God.

ALL THINGS ARE UNDER THE FEET OF THE LORD JESUS.  He was given to be the head of all things. To the Church, which is His body, which is us, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all. He has disarmed all the rulers and authorities. He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them. With His Name He has given me authority to tread upon all powers of the enemy. Nothing shall by any means harm me. I always triumph in the Name of Jesus Christ.

IN THE NAME OF JESUS, I REMOVE FROM MYSELF AND THIS PLACE ALL OPPRESSION AND THE WORKS OF DARKNESS.  I remove in Jesus Name all works of tradition, legalism, doubt, and unbelief. I remove in Jesus Name all the works of confusion, distraction, tiredness, and fatigue. I am strengthened in all power by the Name of Jesus and by the Might of the Lord. I break every curse. I remove every stronghold, now in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I remove every stronghold, now in the Name of Jesus Christ!

I RECEIVE THE FINISHED WORKS OF CALVARY.

I PROCLAIM MY FREEDOM IN JESUS NAME.

IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, I SPEAK PEACE!

GOD WATCHES OVER HIS WORD
TO PERFORM IT

Leave No Man Behind!

A WORD FOR THE CHURCH IN AMERICA AND ACROSS THE GLOBE
Thus says the Lord God:

In the days to come, the doctrines of the Church, the Body of Christ, the very bones of our faith will be tested. Many in the church will be speaking of a new gospel, a gospel of unity, a gospel that brings all faiths and teachings and all peoples together. This new gospel will be no gospel at all, it will not claim the Headship, Lordship of Jesus Christ only, nor His death, burial and resurrection for the payment of sin for all men.

This new gospel will sound fine it will sound good, it will speak of coming together and of loving each other and of caring for one another and showing love to all people. But it will not address sin. It's claim will be love, even the very love of God, but this is a false love, this love will not be based on the love of God when He sent His only born Son to die on a cross for the sins of man> this love will be based on a love of works, how I am to love my fellow man.

This new gospel will not speak of a virgin birth, but of the symbolism of purity, it will speak of purity, of having a pure heart, because the heart of man is pure, that we will find this purity if we seek in our hearts this purity that God places in all men.

This false gospel is coming, and it is coming from within the church, and from recognized church leaders, but do not be deceived, this is not the Gospel of Christ, but a lie from the pits of hell, sent to deceive the Church and to deceive the unsaved even more.

The Church must make a stand against such false teaching. The Church must know the Truth, the Gospel, the true doctrines of what Jesus taught, the very bones and foundational teachings of The Bible. The Church must teach the members of the Body the truth, so that it cannot be deceived. The Church, the Body, must begin again to preach directly from the Bible the Holy Scriptures as the Holy Spirit gave them to the Prophets and to the Apostles. Nothing less will keep the Church, those who believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior, from being lead astray from the Gospel of Salvation, the only truth the Church can preach for the salvation of man. For the removal of sin and for the relationship between God and man to be restored.

This will be a time of shaking for the Church, a great division will occur, those who stand and stay in their Faith in Jesus Christ and His Gospel alone, will be faithful to the Gospel of Christ and those who fall away, these we will see were never faithful to the Cross of Christ, to His death, burial and resurrection. Their non-belief will be shown for what it truly is a corruption of their heart, a greed for money and for the worship of men. These leaders will lead many astray but those who hold fast to the Truths that Jesus taught will be saved.

Thus says the Lord God Almighty.

And the Word of Lord came to me this morning and this is what the Lord of Host, the Lord God Almighty is saying:
"And say to this nation, repent, for God has found fault with you, for you have turned aside to worship other Gods and to profane the Name of the Lord and His Son Jesus. For you have taken Him out of your schools and out of your homes and out of your churches and you proclaimed yourself as gods and kings. You have refused to listen to Me and to My prophets, so judgement will come to this land, the hand of the Lord will be against you and against your people who have turned their backs toward Me, so My judgement will come and it will strike first at the church and then at the nation, so that you will know that I am the Lord your God and there is no other, you will worship me and worship me alone for I am a jealous God and will allow no other Gods before Me, not even yourselves. When you repent the Lord will hear you and He will take away the judgment from the land and from the people, and you will be My people a holy people unto Me you will be. You will once again go into the nations and proclaim My Glory so that others may see and be saved. But you must repent or My judgement will fall as in the days of Noah when all flesh was destroyed and only a remnant was left from the destruction. For when you repent then you will be saved and you will be saved with an everlasting salvation, a salvation that does not pass away a salvation that is held for you that is hidden for you in My Son, when He saves you for your sins. He will save you with an everlasting salvation. A salvation that will not wither, or change or die but you must repent, or I cannot save you for you are an godly and unholy people. For My judgement is coming and it will be swift and might so that you will know that it is I the Lord God All Might that judges you. Thus Says the Lord God of all the Heavens and all the Universe and all that is made, for I am the maker of all things and all things that are made are made by my Hand and no other. Repent I tell you you must Repent."

(A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT)

I am a child of the Most High God.
Called according to His purpose.
I have been given the Holy Spirit to be sealed for eternity.
I was brought out of darkness and placed into the light never to be separated from God again.
.............................................
I have been given the authority by Jesus to overcome every obstacle in my life.
I have been told to preach the Gospel, been given an ambassadorship, and made a new creation.
I am now seated at the right hand of God in Christ Jesus.
I was buried with Him and raised with Him.
...............................................
I was told to go and sin no more.
I have been commanded to bless my brothers, pray for them and to bear their burdens.
....................................................
I am committed to the cause of Christ, while given to adversity, and filled with peace, overflowing with praise, overjoyed with rejoicing while under trials and tribulations.
I have been commanded to love because I have been loved.
I am given to hospitality, showing kindness and forgiveness to those who hate me and betray me.
....................................................
I am committed to wisdom, good judgment and acts of Godliness.
I am full of faith not fear, giving God the glory in every endeavor and situation.
I hear from the Father, I am taught by the Son, and I am reminded by His Spirit.
...........................................................
I am a son of Abraham guaranteed his inheritance.
I have been bought with a price that was paid for by His blood, and healed by His stripes.
..................................................................
I have been anointed, separated and set apart for His good pleasure.
I am a king, a prince, a judge and a ruler.
God says I am a royal priesthood a holy nation and a peculiar people.
I am made in His image.
.............................................................
I have been told by Jesus to walk, to see and to stretch forth my hand.
I am living by faith, walking by His Spirit, because I have the mind of Christ.
..
I am growing, giving, persisting, standing firm, running the race, and collecting my prize.
I am crowned with glory, robed with righteousness, wearing the signet ring, and enjoying the fatted calf.
Heaven is my home, God is my father, Jesus Christ is my brother, and the Holy Spirit is my life.
................................................................
I am living forever.
I will be worshiping for an eternity, never to feel sorrow or pain again.
I will know Him when He returns because I will be like Him.

IN HIS NAME AND FOR HIS GREATER GLORY
Amen
GETTING MEN BACK TO THE BASICS
Follow Jesus and Fish for Men

THE CHRISTIAN MAN TODAY NEEDS TO LEARN TO STAND. Not just for his family but for the Gospel. This is what the Christian Man of today has forgotten. And it is not entirely his fought. The church of today has forgotten to teach the Christian Man of today that first and foremost he is a disciple of Christ. Jesus did not say go and make republicans or go and make Americans or go and make good providers of his family or even good employees or go and make builders of buildings who teach team building by having the best teamwork. Jesus said go and make disciples. Go and make followers of Jesus Himself. This was the charge to the church 2000 years ago and it has not changed. Even though many in the church today act as if it has. Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Getting men back to square one should be and is a necessity to make followers of Jesus and for true church development. Teaching men about Jesus, what did Jesus say, how did Jesus live, what did Jesus Himself believe, this needs to be the foremost teaching for the church today. To many books and teachings on manhood and fatherhood and brotherhood and on being a great leader and a fabulous boss and team planter and builder, a financial wizard a guru for all others to look to, without teaching Jesus, has become the Christiandom norm. And this norm has destroyed the men of the church. It has caused them to look for and seek after every kind of teaching on every subject matter possible by every author available Christian and otherwise.

Do we really have the right to wonder why men are confused? Why there are so few Godly men in the church today. The answers men have come to seek after have become as wide spread as the various subject matters themselves. How to be a man’s man? How to be the boss that bosses with love? How to give so that your giving comes back to you? How to be the husband for all wives? How to be the dad of all dads, the father of all wisdom, the leader of leaders, the courageous lion that protects, provides and guides and and and..... And yet no one is teaching how to follow Jesus. Jesus simply said: “follow me and I will make you fishers of men”. This simple message is where we need to start teaching again. Follow Jesus and Fish for Men. This is what men need to be taught again. This is what Jesus said, this was His instruction. This was His plan. Don’t we think it is time to start teaching what Jesus told us to teach?
